Ill children will be isolated in the Health Social Worker\342\200\231s office and will utilize the staff bathrooms located near the entrance of the building. Cleaning supplies are inaccessible to children. The classrooms were observed to be clean and free of toxins. LPAs observed that there are plenty of tables, chairs and cubbies. LPAs observed plenty of age appropriate items & toys. Room measurements in classrooms were taken and reviewed with Site Supervisor. The total inside preschool area of all classrooms measured to an approximate 4,123 square feet which will accommodate a maximum capacity of 117 preschool children based on Title 22 requirements of 35 square feet per child. LPAs contacted Licensee via phone during inspection and Licensee has decided to submit an updated application for 117 preschool children ages 2-6. There are a total of 8 toilets and 9 sinks/hand washing fixtures which will accommodate the newly requested capacity. Facility uses an outside water vendor service to provide drinking water for both indoor and outdoor activities. Facility fills up igloo jugs to provide water with paper cup dispensers for both indoor and outdoor activities. LPA observed two outdoor activity areas for preschool children. Both outdoor activity areas measured to an approximate 9,867 square feet which will accommodate the newly requested capacity of 117 preschool children. LPA observed a high climbing play structure with rubber cushioning in each outdoor activity area. Sand boxes were observed in both outdoor activity areas. CONTINUED ON LIC809-C There is a shade structure in both areas that provides an adequate shaded rest area. Mature trees provide additional shade. The equipment observed appeared to be age appropriate. LPA reminded Site Supervisor to make sure they maintain visual supervision of children at all times. A fire clearance for 113 preschool children was approved by the City of Patterson Fire Department on 9/25/24. Licensee understands that an approved fire clearance for 117 preschool children will be needed before the license can be updated. Pending a final file review and completion of a fire clearance by the local fire department with jurisdiction, a recommendation will be made to license the above classrooms for a capacity of 117 preschool children. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor, Yasmin Gallegos.
