What the inspector wrote

Based on interviews and records review during this investigation, the allegation of day care does not have water; the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation are found to be SUBSTANTIATED. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, the following deficiency is being cited on the attached LIC9099-D, see next page. Exit interview was conducted with Director, Sonja Stephens. A Notice of Site Visit Form was posted and must remain posted for 30 days. The licensee was provided a copy of their appeal rights and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of this form.

    (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. Based on interviews and records review, day care did not have water for children in care as stated on LIC 9099. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of the children in care.
