What the inspector wrote

On 09/20/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yesenia Fierro conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Family Service Coordinator Maribel Torres. A census was obtained, there were 32 children in care during today’s inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to inspect a newly added outdoor musical instrument garden. The new music garden is designed for children between the ages of 3-5yrs. LPA observed the music garden to be in a sandy area, LPA observed four (4) metal musical butterflies, four (4) metal musical flowers, four (4) plastic toned drums, one (1) plastic Rhythm, one (1) plastic Calypso and one (1) plastic Cadence all music instruments are anchored securely into the ground. LPA did not observe any hazards in the music garden, LPA reminded staff to ensure that manufacturer’s instructions are always followed at all times when using the musical garden and to discuss with staff best practices for maintaining visual supervision when children are playing outdoors. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiencies cited during today's visit. An exit interview was conducted with Family Service Coordinator Maribel Torres a copy of this report was provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit Form (LIC 9213) was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days.
