Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 01/30/23 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Araceli Gibson and (LPA) Julie Baptista conducted an unannounced complaint inspection met by Director Claudia Vazquez to provide findings regarding the above allegations. During the course of the investigation LPA Gibson observed the facility, reviewed facility records and interviewed staff, parents and other witnesses. Investigation revealed the following: Allegation Facility is out of Ratio: based on witness interviews inconsistency in reports of facility being out of ratio, therefore allegation is unsubstantiated not enough evidence to prove facility is out of ratio. The time period in question is during the transition periods of drop off and pick up times. Parents wait at a gate for a teacher to come to receive or deliver the child to the authorized representatives. LPA Gibson was told by administrators this procedure changed to parents dropping off and picking up at the door at the start of the new year 2023. Although the allegation may have happened or may be valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation stated above occurred, therefore the allegation was found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. Per California Code of Regulations Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 1, no deficiencies are being cited today Exit interview with director was provided along with appeal right and a notice of site visit.
