Correction check·November 6, 2025

On 11/06/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erica Pacheco conducted a Plan of Correction inspection. LPA met with Licensee Reina Lopez, toured the facility and took a census. There were 3 children present during today\342\200\231s inspection. The purpose of today\342\200\231s inspection was to verify that the deficiency issued during the annual inspection on 09/24/2025 has been corrected. On 09/24/2025, the facility was issued a Type B citation in violation of California Code of Regulations 1596.814(a)(1)(B)(ii)(I ) . During the inspection on 09/24/2025, the licensee did not have a pool alarm or pool cover, a 12 foot fixed rescue pole with body hook, or a minimum of 17 inches life ring that met regulations. Today, LPA Pacheco inspected the pool area for the required items. The pool area has a pool gate that is self-latching and has a key lockable device that is at least 60 inches above the ground. LPA observed a 20 inch U.S. Coast Guard approved life ring, a 12 foot rescue pole, and pool cover meets the ASTM F1346 regulation. The licensee also had documentation for completed daily pool logs. The licensee's Plan of Correction for the above listed deficiency has been cleared during the today's. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were observed today. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Reina Lopez. A notice of site visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
