What the inspector wrote

On 10/09/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erica Pacheco conducted a Plan of Correction inspection. LPA met with Licensee Josie Cruz who accompanied LPA on a tour of the home. There were 2 children present during today\342\200\231s inspection. The purpose of today\342\200\231s inspection was to verify that the deficiency issued during the annual inspection on 08/12/2025 has been corrected. On 08/25/2025, the facility was issued a Type B citation in violation of California Code of Regulations 1596.814(a)(1)(B)(ii)(I). During the inspection on 08/25/2025, the licensee had the pool alarm sitting on the outside of the pool and did not have the remote alarm that is supposed to be placed inside the home. Today, LPA Pacheco inspected the pool area for the required item. The pool area has a pool gate that is self-latching and has a key lockable device that is at least 60 inches above the ground. LPA observed a pool alarm that was tested and working properly. The licensee's Plan of Correction for the above listed deficiency has been cleared during the today's. On 8/25/2025, the facility was also issued a Type B citation in violation of California Code of Regulations 102425(j)(2)(D)(c). During the inspection on 08/25/2025 , the licensee was unable to provide documentation of the 15-minute sleep check logs for child #3 and child #5. LPA observed completed 15-minute sleep check logs for the children. The licensee's Plan of Correction for the above listed deficiency has been cleared during the today's. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited during today's visit. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Josie Cruz. A notice of site visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
