Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 11/13/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Aurelio Mendoza conducted a Case Management \342\200\223 Other inspection and met with Licensee Loriann Rebello. The licensee\342\200\231s assistant was also present. LPA toured the inside and outside of the family child care home and took a census. The purpose of the visit was to address a Confirmation of Removal for Staff #1 received by Child Care Licensing. LPA informed the licensee that Staff #1 may not work, reside, or be present at the facility unless a criminal record exemption is granted. LPA explained that an exemption may be granted if the Caregiver Background Check Bureau (CBCB) determines the individual is of present good character. The licensee stated that Staff #1 has not worked or been present at the facility since December 2019. Based on the walkthrough, interviews, and information obtained during the visit, LPA verified that Staff #1 is no longer associated with the facility. A signed roster was obtained. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited. This report was reviewed with licensee, and an exit interview was conducted. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was provided and must be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights were reviewed, printed, and provided to the licensee.
