Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 11/20/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeovanna Yanez conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA was greeted by Licensee, Horace Turner, and a census was taken. The purpose of today's inspection was to inspect the off-limits fenced backyard and make it accessible for the daycare use. Licensee and LPA toured the backyard. Licensee\342\200\231s backyard has been inaccessible to children since the Family Child Care Home (FCCH) became licensed on 11/19/2025. LPA inspected the backyard and observed the area to be free of hazards. The section of the perimeter fence that was observed in disrepair has now been repaired. There is cement and sod for the children. There is a shed that is kept locked with a padlock. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water observed on the premises. Licensee is approved to use the back yard for day care use effective tomorrow, 11/21/2025. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were observed today. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Horace Turner. A notice of site visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
