At 1:27pm LPA toured the home and observed the licensee's assistant caring for 6 children, 2 infants under the age of 2, 2 children age 2 years, 1 child age 3 years, and 1 child age 5. Four of the 6 children in care were napping in Pac-n-Plays, 2 of which were infants. LPA observed infant #8 in a Pac-n-Play with a blanket as they slept. The licensee arrived at 2:05pm after picking up 4 additional children from school. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with licensee Maria del Carmen Garcia Cervantes. Appeal Rights were provided, a Notice of Site Visit was given, and it must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
