A Case Management visit was conducted on 10/6/21, by Licensing Program Analyst, Wisehart who met with Alyssa McCombs, Director for the Tehama County Department of Educations Early Childhood Programs. The licensee requests a waiver to allow 12 special education children from the Tehama Extensive Needs program (an unlicensed program) to mainstream in the outdoor activity area with children from the Metteer State Preschool. The LPA came to tour the facility and to measure to see if there was adequate outdoor play area to accommodate 12 special education children in addition to the maximum capacity of 24 for the licensed program. The area measured to accommodate for the requested 36 school children therefore, the LPA will submit the waiver request for review and approval. No title 22 deficiencies were issued during today's visit. A notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days .
