Pre-licensing visit·August 4, 2025

A prelicensing inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J. Snow. LPA met with facility representative Jolene Edwards . Applicant is requesting to be licensed for # 60 children, consisting of 18 infants 6 weeks-24 months (in room #1&2) & 12 toddlers age 18-36 months (in room #3), 24 preschool children age 2-6 years (in room #4)& 6 school age children 6-12 (in room #5). (Full Prelicensing conducted on 6/2/25). The facility is requesting the one yard be shared with infant, toddler, preschool and school age children. There are no climbing structures. A capacity worksheet was completed during the visit. The inside, room square footage measured 2,334 sq ft. Children have access to at least 5 toilets & sinks. The outside, yard square footage measured 2,1000 sq ft. Based on above sinks, toilets and inside square footage) was sufficient for the requested capacity. The shared yard was NOT sufficient requiring a yard waiver. You have 30 days to submit the following items: 1. Updated fire clearance to align with the new capacity (STD850 sent on 7/21/25) 2. Approval for the yard waiver (infant, toddler, preschool & school age) 3. Management approval for staffing; additional documents or exemptions may be required.
