What the inspector wrote

On 3/16/2022, An unannounced Annual Random visit was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jose Penate. LPA met with Regional Supervisor, Lucinda Vasquez and toured the facility, both indoors and outdoors. This facility runs Monday thru Friday from 7:45AM to 2:30PM. Breakfast, lunch and a PM snack are delivered from Earlimart Preschool. Classroom #1-#2-& #3 accommodates the preschool age children and classroom #4 accommodates toddler children. Currently classroom #1 is closed for renovations, children that were previously in classroom #1 have been relocated to #3. The bathrooms in classroom #3 & #4 are separated by a wooden partition that prevents the commingling of different age groups. The toddler restroom has a changing table that meets regulations, it also has a changing table that has a sink at arm\342\200\231s reach. There are no bodies of water on site. Firearms/weapons are not allowed or stored on premises. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. There is a ratio of one teacher supervising no more than 12 children in attendance. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions and other dangerous items shall be inaccessible to children. No poisons were observed during today\342\200\231s visit. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free. All toilets, hand washing, and bathing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. All floors are clean and safe. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Menus are posted at least one week in advance, where an authorized representative can view them. All food is protected from contamination, and contaminated food is discarded immediately. Solid waste storage vessels, including moveable bins, have tight-fitting covers on, and are in good repair. Continued on LIC 809-C Uncontaminated drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Each classroom has disposable cups that are held in a cup dispenser allowing children to freely drink water at any time. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors that meet statutory requirements. Playground equipment is in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Areas around high climbing equipment and slides have cushioning material to absorb falls. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) is currently being provided. Licensee is aware that an IMS plan is required to be submitted to the licensing office if they provide any of these services. LPA and Licensee discussed the Community Care Licensing website www.ccld.ca.gov which will provide access to Provider Information Notices (PINs), Quarterly Updates, COVID-19 Information and Resources, Mandated Reporter Training, Safe Sleep in Child Care, Lead Poisoning Facts, Forms and Regulations. Per Title 22, Division 12, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Regional Supervisor, Lucinda Vasquez. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
