On 05/01/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Meche Rosales arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced complaint inspection and deliver investigation findings. LPA met with site supervisor Sylvia Walker, a census was taken, and a tour of the facility was conducted. During the course of this investigation, staff, children and parents were interviewed and files were reviewed. This agency has investigated the complaint alleging staff member verbally abuses day care children including speaking to children in an intimidating manner while in care. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations occurred; therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency was cited. An exit interview was conducted with site supervisor Sylvia Walker, and appeal rights were provided. A Notice of Site Visit Form was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days.
