Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 11/05/2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nohemi Sanchez and Lady Cabrera conducted an unannounced case management inspection and met with Director Denise Egge and toured the facility inside and out and a census was taken. The purpose of inspection was to follow up on a previous visit which was conducted on 10/18/2024. LPAs collected facility records and conducted interviews of facility representatives, staff, parents, and children. Child 1 alleged Staff 1 mishandled child. Interview with Staff 1 denied having ever mishandled children in care. Of the other parents and children interviewed, none stated or of having knowledge of Staff 1 mishandled children in care. Staff is no longer employed at the facility. Based on the information obtained, this incident appears to be unsubstantiated. LPA determined Director handled the incident appropriately and reporting requirements were met as well. Report was reviewed and exit interview conducted with Director Denise Egge. Per Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 1 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency was cited during today's inspection. This report shall be made available to the public upon request.
