Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 8/30/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ruby Ocegueda conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) Inspection. LPA met with Licensee Alicia Ratcliffe to review the POC's associated to the deficiencies cited on 8/2/2022. LPA toured the home and took a census. LPA inspected the back yard, infant sleep and play equipment, and staff files. LPA observed that the back yard was free of hazardous conditions, the infant rocker was removed, and staff #2 had completed Mandated Reporter Training (completion date 8/9/2022). Licensee stated she completed the online Safe Sleep Training offered through safetosleep.nichd.nih.gov, however had not been able to print the video text transcripts due to printer issues. Licensee requested an extension to provide her more time to be able to find a printer and submit proof she obtained the Safe Sleep training as required for the deficiency cited on 8/3/2022. Today, LPA Ocegueda provided additional technical support and reviewed staff file requirements. LPA reminded licensee to continue to follow all Title 22 Regulations and that licensees should monitor her home for safe conditions. LPA cleared the deficiencies related to Mandated Reporter Training and Personal Rights cited on 8/2/022. Licensee will receive "Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared" via mail. Licensee stated she would submit proof of completion for Safe Sleep training by 9/10/2022. Licensee will also be completing the live online Community Care Licensing Orientation Training as was recommended during the informal meeting held at the Fresno Regional Office (FRO) on 8/17/2022. Per Licensee she will be attending the next available training in September. An Exit interview was conducted with Alicia Ratcliffe. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited today. THIS REPORT SHALL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC UPON REQUEST. LIC 9213 NOTICE OF SITE VISIT FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
