What the inspector wrote

An informal office meeting was conducted today at the Fresno Regional Child Care Office. In attendance at the meeting were Licensing Program Manager Susie Fanning, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Robert Gutierrez and Program Director Hanadi Rousan. The purpose of this office meeting is to discuss a recent violation of Title 22 Regulations. The following Type A Violation was discussed : \302\267 05/06/2022 - Health Related Services. The licensee shall immediately notify the child's authorized representative if the child becomes ill or sustains an injury more serious than a minor cut or scratch. The licensee shall obtain specific instructions from the authorized representative regarding action to be taken. This requirement was not met as evidenced by interviews conducted during inspection. LPA was informed, on 04/26/2022 between 12:15 PM \342\200\223 12:40 PM while at the center, C1 sustained a serious head injury requiring medical attention. However, the legal guardian of C1 was not informed of the injury until pick up at around 4:00 PM. This posed as an immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. During today\342\200\231s meeting, licensee stated the facility shall comply with all Title 22 regulations. It was discussed that continued violation of Title 22 Regulations may result in a Non-Compliance meeting and may be referred to our Legal Division for a possible Administrative Action.
