What the inspector wrote

On 3/4/2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Claribel Soto conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection and was met by licensee, Karla Martinez. The purpose of today\342\200\231s inspection is verify that the pool alarm functions properly and daily inspection log is completed. LPA verified that the pool gate has a maximum vertical clearance of 2 inches from the ground to the bottom of the enclosure, no gaps, or voids larger than 4 inches in diameter, and no protrusions or footholds enabling a child to climb over. LPA verified Pool Alarm is ASTM certified and that the pool alarm functions properly. LPA observed a Life Ring that meets the minimum requirement of 17 inches in diameter and is U.S. Coast Guard approved. LPA observed a Rescue Pole with a body hook that meets the minimum length of 12 feet. Life Ring and Rescue Pole are visible from pool and readily available. LPA verified that licensee maintains a daily inspection log of the pool and safety equipment. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with licensee, Karla Martinez. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Licensee was provided appeal rights. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
