What the inspector wrote

On 06/18/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Nancy Her conducted an announced follow up Pre-Licensing inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with Applicant Claudia Ramos. The purpose of this inspection is to follow up on corrections from the 02/25/2025 pre-licensing inspection. On 02/25/2025 the following corrections were needed prior to the issuance of the license: \302\267 Water damaged ceiling tiles need to be replaced \302\267 Updated staff handbook needs to be submitted \302\267 Ms. Ramos needs updated immunization record \302\267 Solid waste container with a tight fitting lid needs to be ordered \302\267 Water igloo and disposable cups need to be ordered \302\267 The floor is uneven under the door to the outdoor area. This will need to be fixed as it is a tripping hazard. \302\267 Outdoor area needs to be cleaned, cushioning needs to be in place, the gate needs to be repaired. \302\267 Outdoor age appropriate toys and equipment needs to be ordered and available for children \302\267 The outdoor area currently only allows for 11 children at one time. Applicant is to determine if they will reduce capacity to 11 children, hire additional staff to rotate children so they can accommodate all 12 requested children with a playground waiver to share the playground at different times in the AM due to limited square footage, or possibly obtain a larger outdoor play area. During today's inspection, LPA observed that these items were corrected. The ceiling tiles have been replaced. Updated staff handbook and immunization records were submitted. The floor is fixed, and the outdoor area is set up and ready for children. Solid waste containers are in place in the classrooms. Facility has a water igloo and disposable cups. Applicant is going to submit a waiver for the outdoor area. Applicant is going to hire a fully qualified teacher. A license for 12 children will be granted upon waiver approval and final file review. Exit interview was conducted with Applicant Claudia Ramos.
