Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Based on interviews conducted, parents are aware of children visiting both family child care home locations. Both licensees have permission slips signed by parents allowing children to attend both family child care homes. Each location has separate Parent/Child Rosters, children files, emergency contact information, and enrollment packets for each child and care. Based on interviews and LPA observation capacity on license is being maintained even when both family child care homes are at the same location. Based on interviews and LPA observation licensee is present during the hours of operation. Licensee is aware that they will assume responsibility of all children in care when children are at their licensed family child care home. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency is cited during today’s visit. Exit interview conducted with the licensee, Karissa Contreras. Appeal Rights were provided and discussed and Notice of Site Visit was provided and will remain posted for 30 days. This report will be made public upon request.
