TEACHER-CHILD RATIO
101216.3 Teacher-Child Ratio(a) There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance. This requirements was not met as evidence by: Interviews revealed that staff had stepped out to a different room to change a diaper leaving the classroom with one staff and more than 12 children.This is a deficiency that if not corrected poses an immediate risk to the children in care.

101223 Personal Rights(a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (3)To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitivenature...... This requirements was not met as evidence by: Interviews revealed that staff had placed children in highchairs for time out and that staff#1 yelled at Child#1 when trying to enforced child#1 to follow rules.This is a violation that if not corrected poses an immediate risk to the chidlren in care.
