What the inspector wrote

On February 12, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giovani Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Case Management - Incident inspection at the above mentioned Child Care Center (CCC). LPA met with Site Supervisor Megan Ramsey and informed them the purpose of the inspection. At the time of the inspection 38 children and 6 staff were present. On 1/14/26, the CCC self reported an incident where C1 went down the slide, tumbled and landed on their shoulder. C1 was unable to move their shoulder and was picked up. C1 returned to the facility with a sling around their arm the next day. LPA in the company of the Site Supervisor toured the facility. LPA observed the play ground and the structure where the injury occurred. LPA notes the the play structure is age appropriate and in good condition. LPA observed the facility to have rubber footing in the fall zones. LPA notes the incident was observed by staff and staff administered an ice pack to the injury. Parent was notified of the incident as well. Based on the information obtained the incident is deemed risk at play. No deficiencies are being cited as a result of this incident. Report was reviewed with Site Supervisor Megan Ramsey and notice of site visit was given.
