What the inspector wrote

On May 4 th 2023 at 12:01PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA met with facility Lead Administrator Wendi Keith and advised her the purpose of the inspection. Administrator provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. At the time of the inspection there were zero (0) children and (0) teachers present. Program operates from Monday through Friday 1:00PM-6:00PM. The facility uses written logs for the purposes of signing in and out, and is currently using one (1) classroom for children in care. LPA observed licensing required documents posted prominently on the wall at the entrance of the facility. The facility has sufficient restrooms which provide individual privacy for children in care. LPA observed individual spaces for children to places personal belongings. LPA observed age-appropriate toys, activities, books, and furniture readily accessible for children to use. Combustibles, toxins, sharps, cleaning supplies are stored out of reach of children. Facility provides filtered water.The last fire drill was completed on 9/14/2022 and fire extinguisher last serviced 1/26/2023. Facility is reminded to service fire drill or purchase new one yearly, and drills are to be conducted every six months . Currently the facility is not providing Incidental Medical Services (IMS) to children in care. LPA reviewed a sampling of children and staff records. Children records were complete and current. Staff files were observed to be current and complete. LPA verified SB 792 Child Care Adult Immunization and Tuberculosis Requirements. Teacher has Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificate expires 8/2024 and AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training certificates expires 12/20/2023. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. Technical Assistance provided. Exit interview conducted, report was reviewed with the lead administrator, copy provided. Notice of Site Visit posted.
