What the inspector wrote

On 12/05/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Diaz and Fernando Hernandez conducted a Case Management deficiencies inspection at the Child Care Center (CCC). LPA met with Director Armida Luevano discuss the purpose of today's inspection. LPA notes 17 children and 6 staff were present during inspection. LPA's were at the center for a complaint an when reviewing staff folders, and interview with director LPA's observed mandated reporter training to be expired for all staff. LPAs reminded director that mandated reporter training needs to be completed every 2 years. Based on LPAs observations requirements have not been meet under Health and Safety 1596.8662 Availability of information regarding detecting and reporting child abuse and neglect; training for mandated reporter who is licensed day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility; proof of completion (b) (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. . During today’s inspection Technical Violation as was provided regarding mandated reporter training. Exit interview and review of report was conducted with Director Armida Luevano Notice of Site visit was provided and must remain posted for the next 30 days.
