What the inspector wrote

On June 14, 2023 Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's) Susana Martinez and MAryrose Breault attempted to conducted a required-1 year inspection. LPA's observed chain on the gate. No children were observed to be present. LPA's called (805)646-4833, no answer and not able to leave a message. LPA's then called (805)485-7878 and spoke to Clara who states the center has been closed for the summer. LPA questioned if she reported this to the department via OD or LPA, Clara stated no. LPA's advised Clara to contact the center upon reopening. LPA's reminded Clara that facility closures need to be reported to licensing. Clara states the center will most likely re-open in August. LPA's exited campus.
