Facility-requested visit·December 18, 2019

Report Amended Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Christian Patterson and Jill Laxo made an unannounced inspection for the purpose of conducting a Case Management - Change of Capacity inspection. LPAs met with Director Marisa Borel and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility was toured and measurements were taken of each classroom. The facility currently has four classrooms, two toddler classrooms and two preschool classrooms. The facility has initiated a request for change of capacity to convert one toddler classroom into a preschool classroom. A fire clearance inspection was conducted by the Ventura County Fire Department on 12/04/18 which allows for the requested capacity of 51 children. Classroom #1\342\200\231s, which will remain a toddler classroom, square footage allows for 12 children (467.4 square feet). Preschool Classroom\342\200\231s #2, #3, and #4 indoor square footage (1392.41 square feet) meets the requirement for 39 children. This meets the requested capacity of 51 children comprised of 12 toddlers and 39 preschool children. Outdoor preschool space meets the requirement for 39 children. Outdoor toddler space meets the requirement for 12 children. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s, personnel, and administrative records.
