What the inspector wrote

On July 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Betzayra Cervantes arrived at the facility and conducted a Risk Assessment for COVID-19 via telephone call with licensee, Adriana Marquez prior to entering the facility. LPA met with licensee and explained that the purpose was to conduct an unannounced Case Management inspection. A tour of the facility was conducted inside and outside. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection. Licensee submitted an application to the Community Care Licensing (CCL) requesting an increase in capacity to a Large Family Child Care Home (FCCH). The licensee uses the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway bathroom and backyard are used for child care. On June 24, 2021 the Oxnard Fire Department inspector conducted a fire inspection. Fire clearance approval for the large FCCH was granted on 6/24/21. A regulation 2A10BC fire extinguisher was purchased on 8/26/2020 and was observed mounted in the dining room. Licensee's Pediatric CPR and First-Aid certification is current until 06/07/2023. Licensee has completed all required licensing requirements for a large family childcare license. Facility annual required inspection was completed today, July 13, 2021 with no cited deficiencies. The home meets Title 22 of Community Care Licensing requirements for a Large Family Child Care License effective today, July 13, 2021. THE NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS POSTED AS REQUIRED BY H&S CODE SEC. 1596.817. THE NOTICE OF SITE VISIT MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS OR A CIVIL PENALTY OF $100.00 WILL APPLY.
