On 02/11/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Shane Loftus conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection of the above-mentioned Child Care Center (CCC) to address an Unusual Incident Report (UIR) received by CCLD on 11/28/2025. Specifically, CCC staff reported children in care (C1, C2, C3, and C4) were engaging in inappropriate behavior in the play yard. LPA met with Lisa van der Merwe, Director of the CCC, and explained the nature of the inspection. The Director provided LPA with an account of what transpired. LPA observed where the reported incident transpired and interviewed S1 and S2. Due to insufficient information available at the time of this inspection, the UIR will need further investigation. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements may result in a civil penalty of $100. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, Lisa van der Merwe.
