What the inspector wrote

On December 4,2025 LPA was at the center to initiate a complaint and during the tour of the facility, LPA and Director, Marisela Garcia, were inspecting the playground and heard Teacher (T1) yell at a child (C1) and pushed them down to the ground. LPA approached T1 and advised them that yelling the children was violating their personal rights. LPA asked T1 why they have pushed down the child to the ground, staff stated that the child was being unsafe by taking their shoe off and running around. T1 indicated that they didn\342\200\231t want the child (C1) to get hurt so they placed them on the ground to put on their shoes. LPA advised T1 that they are not to forcefully move children nor yell at them Director advised Teacher that next time this were to occur, it would be best to verbally ask the child to sit down to put on the child\342\200\231s shoes on. Teacher stated they would do that next time. LPA advised Director that teachers should not be yelling or forcefully moving children as it is a violation of their personal rights. Director stated they understood and would talk to teacher about children's personal rights. During today's inspection, one Type B deficiency under Title 22 Division 12 was cited due LPA observing a teacher yell at a child , which can be found on the attached 809-D. Appeal Rights were provided to the Director. Notice of site visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days, Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Marisela Garcia.
