Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On May 1 st 2026 at 12:36pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Brian Fung and Rosie Breault made an unannounced inspection for the purpose of conducting a Case Management inspection. LPAs met with Chelsea Romero to discuss an incident that was self-reported to Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) office by phone on February 11 th , 2026 regarding a child developing a rash during drop off caused by leftover residue from soap and sanitizer dispenser. LPAs toured the area/classroom where the incident occurred and interviewed program administrator and staff. LPAs conducted interviews and record reviews. LPAs collected records and emails that was exchanged between the staff and parents. It was discovered that there was no refill packs of soap and hand sanitizers in both dispensers. Hand soaps are located in a portable bottle across the classroom and staff are actively supervising children as they are washing their hands. Also noted, the child was not dropped off to the child care center at the time when hand washing occured when the child made rubbing motions on his forearms and hands. Teachers noticed the rash during diaper changing time that occurred on the forearms and forehead area and contacted the parent immediately. The unusual incident report was also reported to licensing. During today's case management, no deficiencies were cited. Exit interview and review of report was conducted with program administrator Chelsea Romero. Notice of site visit was given and must be remained posted for the next 30 days.
