Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

During the investigation, LPA observed that child ratios were met and that both the licensee and assistant were actively supervising the children. Off-limit areas were observed to be secured and inaccessible. The licensee and assistant demonstrated an understanding of safe sleep procedures and children’s personal rights, including allowing children to sleep without being disturbed. Interviews with the licensee and assistant showed they denied the allegations and were knowledgeable about proper supervision, required ratios, personal rights, and safe sleep practices. Parents interviewed reported no concerns and stated they were satisfied with the care and supervision provided. Based on LPA’s observations, record review, and interviews, there was not enough evidence to support the allegations. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. No deficiencies were cited for today. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights were provided, and the report was reviewed. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Fannie Master .
