Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennie Tedlos met with Director, Fabiola Vidrio, for the purpose of a case management inspection. Licensee requests to remove the toddler option and only provide care for 60 children age two years to entry into kindergarten. The program currently operates Monday through Friday from 7:30AM-5:30PM. The fire clearance was granted and received on 8/30/24. INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE: There are three (3) preschool classrooms located in Room 1 (Primaria Room), Room 2 (Escuelita #1), and Room 3 (Escuelita #2). LPA observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. LPA used current measured from report dated 8/26/2008 and 8/16/2007, therefore LPA did not take measurements. The total classroom spaces contain a total of 2,252 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee's request for 60 preschool children. The 4th room located at the end of the building will be used as a Multipurpose room for extra activities and nap. There are a total of six toilets and six sinks for the children located in the Primaria Room, Escuelita #1, and Escuelita #2. A separate private restroom for the staff located in the front office. OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE: There are 3 outdoor play areas on the property, the Primaria, the Escuelita #1, and the Escuelita #2 yards. LPA used current measurements from report dated 8/26/2008, therefore LPA did not take measurements. The outdoor play area contains a total of 8,855 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee's request for 60 preschool children. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Fabiola Vidrio. Effective today, 9/4/24, LPA will approve the facility for 60 children age two years to entry into kindergarten in rooms Primaria Room, Escuelita #1, Escuelita #2, and the Multipurpose Room.
