Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Chayntel Hunter and Christopher Jackson met with Site Supervisor, Joy McAllister for the purpose of an unannounced case management inspection. Licensee requested to increase from a capacity of 25 preschool children to 32 preschool children. Prior to today's inspection, LPA Hunter received the fire clearance for 48 preschool children. District requested a new capacity of 32 children. LPA is awaiting updated fire clearance form. Classroom 1's facility hours are 8 AM to 11:30 AM and 1 to 4:30 PM. Classroom 1 will offer a lunch and PM snack. A health and safety inspection was conducted in all areas accessible to children. LPAs measured two classrooms (1 & 3). The total indoor capacity square footage is 1697.3225 . This will accommodate Licensee's request for 32 preschool children. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024). LPAs observed two restrooms and five sinks. Facility has a waiver on file for shared restroom usage with the elementary school. The outdoor activity space was measured. The total outdoor capacity square footage is 13459 . This will accommodate Licensee's request for 32 preschool children. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024). During the inspection LPAs reviewed new COVID19 self-assessment guide and conducted a technical assistance tour of the facility to incorporate Department of Public Health safety protocols for operating during the pandemic. LPAs reviewed posting requirements and facility operations including sanitation and pick up/drop off procedures. Report continues on 809-C. Site Supervisor was encouraged to visit the Department website at WWW.CCLD.CA.GOV for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. A copy of this report will remain on file for a period of three years for public review upon request. The Site Supervisor's signature on this form acknowledges receipt of this form. An exit interview was conducted and in the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed at the time of the inspection. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and should remain posted for 30 days for parental review. Effective today, 06/25/2021, facility is approved for a provisional license for a capacity of 32 preschool children. CONDITIONS REQUIRING CORRECTION PRIOR TO GRANTING INCREASE REQUEST: 1. Updated fire clearance with requested capacity of 32 2. installation of windows Once the above items are received and approved by LPA Hunter, the facility will be approved for capacity of 32 preschool children.
