What the inspector wrote

L icensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erwin Tjhia met with Licensee, Gloria Kruse for the purpose of an unannounced plan of correction inspection to clear a Type A deficiency, which was issued on 09/18/2025 for not having an alarm system or safety pool cover for the ground swimming pool, a life ring, a rescue pole with a body hook, and the daily inspection log for the poo . There were 3 day-care children present during today's visit. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. During today's inspection LPA observed the pool alarm system in working condition, two life rings, a rescue pole with a body hook, and daily inspection log at the facility . LPA reviewed the LIC 9224 acknowledgment forms signed by parents.Moreover, Licensee also requested the yard by the pool area to be off-limit . Licensee understand that to have the OFF LIMIT area back to ON LIMIT area, it will required an inspection from a LPA. Off limit areas are the garage, entire upstairs, downstair bedroom, and the yard by the pool area. Report Continue on 809- C Deficiency cited on 09/18/2025 is cleared effective today. Proof of correction letter was provided. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. No Title 22 deficiencies observed in the areas evaluated during the inspection
