The facility was also alleged that Staff force children to remain in a napping area longer than the napping period. Interview with the Director revealed that the children were never forced to remain on their cot or to go back to sleep. The classroom would have an early start when most children were awake. Interviews with staff also revealed that the children were never forced to stay on their cot or to go back to sleep. The children were reminded verbally and was offered quite activities as they stay on their cot until another teacher was available to come in and help. Based on the information obtained throughout the course of this investigation the above allegations, LPA Tjhia determined that the allegations were found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Exit interview was conducted. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
