What compliance gaps actually cost

The Citation

$50 to $150 per day until resolved. Average 2 to 3 weeks = $700 to $3,150.

The Lost Family

One parent enrolls elsewhere. Often $1,500 to $2,500 per month lost until the spot is filled.

The Stress

Hours on POC paperwork, calls with licensing, worry about the next visit.

ReadyRule starts at $29 per month for FCC and $79 per month for CCC. Even the FCC plan is less than one day of one citation.

Quick answers

Q: Is it really free?

Yes. Claiming your facility and publishing responses to your public inspection record costs nothing. No credit card, no trial, no upsell gate. ReadyRule is the only place California licensed care providers can respond to their CCLD record at no cost.

Q: Why are you offering this for free?

The public inspection record is civic infrastructure. Parents have always been able to read it; providers have never been able to respond to it. We fix that imbalance for free. Our paid business is data licensing and intelligence for platforms and agencies, not individual providers.

Q: Can you remove a citation if it was wrong?

No. We publish CCLD's record as-is. We provide the response mechanism so your voice appears next to the citation on your facility page. To formally dispute a citation, you work with your Community Care Licensing office directly. Your response on ReadyRule does not change the citation itself, it adds context to the public record.

Q: What if I'm not tech-savvy?

If you can use email, you can claim your page. Most providers finish in 15 minutes. You enter your facility number, verify via email, write a short response to any citation you want to address, and publish.

Q: What happens when I check my facility?

Enter your license number and instantly see your inspection history, days since last visit, and nearby regional activity - all from public CCLD data. No signup required. If you want to respond to citations, claim the page from there.

Q: How is this different from the CCLD website?

CCLD publishes the record, but providers cannot respond on CCLD's site. Parents read a citation with no context from the provider. ReadyRule publishes the same record and lets you, the licensee, add your own response alongside each citation. Same data, both sides.

Q: Is my data secure?

Yes. We use bank-level encryption. We do not sell your data. Your account details and any private notes stay between you and us. Your public response on the facility page is, by design, public.

Q: Can inspectors see my ReadyRule response?

Your public response appears on your facility page on readyrule.com, which anyone with the link can read. That includes parents, the press, and, yes, inspectors. Write accordingly: factual, specific, and professional.

Q: I already use Brightwheel or Procare. Do I need this too?

Brightwheel and Procare handle your operations: billing, parent comms, enrollment. Neither publishes your inspection record or lets you respond to it. ReadyRule is the layer they do not cover. Free to claim, runs alongside whatever you already use.

Q: I have a clean record. Why do I need ReadyRule?

Claim the page anyway. A claimed page signals to parents that the licensee is engaged with the record. You can also add a standing statement about your program even without citations to respond to. And if a citation does land later, your response mechanism is already in place.

Q: What if someone flags my response?

Anyone can flag a response for review at report-abuse@readyrule.com or via the takedown form. We review within 7 business days under the acceptable-use rules in our Provider Response Terms. We publish responses as submitted and take them down only after a review finds a violation.

You deserve more than a 30-second write-up.

Your public record shows what an inspector found on one visit. It doesn't show the care you provide every day. Add your voice.
