K 000 | INITIAL COMMENTS
K 000 | A monitoring Survey for Emergency Environmental Control was conducted on 06/02/2025 at The Lakes at Lutz Rehabilitation Center, a nursing home located in Tampa, Florida in accordance with Florida Administrative Code 59A-4.1265. Although the facility does have a generator and has the ability to transfer power, verification of what equipment (including HVAC) is connected to the generator, or the effectiveness of cool zones was not verified. The conclusions are based on statements made by the facility staff and documentation provided by the facility. In conclusion, there is no way to verify the effectiveness of the alternate power source (generator) to adequately maintain safe temperatures for staff and residents in the event of a loss of power from the local electric utility provider. Generator info: 200 kW diesel generator. There were no concerns found at the time of the survey 06/14/25 STATE FORM 6899 75RL21
