LPA interviewed nine (9) residents, 7 of the 9 residents interviewed confirmed they receive their medication as prescribed per physician’s orders. 1 of the 9 residents stated they receive their medication as prescribed; however, they have problems with receiving their inhaler in a timely manner. 1 of the 9 residents interviewed stated they do not receive their medication as prescribed by their physician. LPA interviewed three (3) staff, all whom confirm residents medication is administered as prescribed by physician’s orders. Therefore, the allegation above is Unsubstantiated. An Unsubstantiated complaint means, that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. An exit interview was conducted with Administrator Melanie Niez and a copy of this report with Appeal Rights was provided at the conclusion of the visit.
