What the inspector wrote

This is a Continuing Care Retirement Community licensed by the CA Dept. of Social Services. Upon reviewing the available information provided for this complaint, the Department has found that the concern expressed by the complainant involves several associated facilities and their contracts. Therefore, the allegation that resident funds are being misappropriated does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Community Care Licensing Division, but rather the Continuing Care Contracts Bureau. Therefore, this complaint is closed as unfounded. The allegation and information have been referred to the Continuing Care Contracts Bureau for review.
