On August 2, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Simerjit Kaur arrived for an announced Pre-licensing inspection and met with the applicants Simran Sahni and Sameer Tandon. Present during the inspection were applicant's 2 minor age children. A previous inspection was conducted on 7/28/2023, the applicants were advised to make the following correction prior to licensing the home: \302\267 The yard deck shall be securely barricaded. The backyard was toured with the applicants to conduct a health and safety inspection. Applicants corrected the required corrections. ON LIMIT AREAS (accessible to children in care): First floor: living room, dining room, half bathroom, day care room, kitchen, and backyard. The isolation area will be in the dining area located adjunct to day care room. OFF LIMIT AREAS (not accessible to children in care) : Second floor: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, office and garage. All off limit areas will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The applicants were reminded to contact Licensing Department, prior to changing an off-limits area to on-limits area. The applicants are also reminded that any structural changes to the home or additions to the child care facility must be reported to Department. The home is recommended for license effective today 08/02/2023. Exit interview conducted with Simran Sahni and Sameer Tandon and. The report was reviewed with the applicants and report shall remain in facility for 3 years.
