What Happened
Annual inspection of large Family Child Care Home (capacity 14, operating with 9 children) revealed one Type A deficiency: new assistant's fingerprint clearance transfer was not submitted prior to assistant providing care, though clearance was eligible. Assistant had been working for at least 5 days part-time since February 2026. Licensee corrected deficiency during inspection by submitting LIC 9182 form. $500 civil penalty assessed.
