Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On February 6, 2023, LPA J. Helton interviewed part time assistant (S1). S1 denied all allegations and stated the only time they may raise their voice is to get attention from children when they are not paying attention. She explained the time out system they use for discipline when needed. Between the dates of February 3 and February 6, 2023, LPA attempted to interview 5 client/parents (P1-P5), 4 were successful. All client/parents interviewed had no concerns or have ever witnessed any of the allegations presented. P4 stated her children are older and have attended the childcare home for many years and that the children would tell her if there was anything inappropriate happening. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Angela Davis. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
