What the inspector wrote

On 12/18/25 at 8:40am LPA Erica Laird conducted a case management inspection for the purpose of conducting a follow-up inspection to ensure the applicant lives in and resides at 8621 Skyway Unit 2. During a previous inspection conducted on 12/09/25 the applicant was observed living in an adjacent property. Since that date the applicant has agreed to move to the address where child care will be provided as required by California Code of Regulations Title 22 Section 102352(f)(1). California Code of Regulations Title 22 Section 102352(f)(1) states : "Family Day Care" or "Family Child Care" means regularly provided care, protection and supervision of children, in the care giver's own home, for periods of less than 24 hours per day , while the parents or authorized representatives are away. A translation device was used to assist with today's inspection. During today\342\200\231s inspection the following was observed: LPA Laird observed back bedroom had full size bed, desk, clothes in the closet, and personal items in the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Based on observations, it appears the applicant has moved into Unit 2. (photos taken) During today\342\200\231s inspection LPA Laird discussed the requirements regarding FCCH operating out of the licensee's primary residence: Applicant stated she understands she needs to live in unit 2 where the daycare will be operating. Applicant stated she understands she must remain living in unit 2 as long as child care is being provided at this address. During today\342\200\231s inspection the applicant has agreed to provide a written statement to the Department documenting her understanding of what was discussed during today\342\200\231s inspection. Applicant submitted a written statement of understanding to LPA Laird during inspection. Final issuance of the license will be determined once all requested documentation has been received.
