What the inspector wrote

On 06/20/2025 at 10:45 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Christina Watts and Karina Canela conducted a Plan of Correction inspection at Kindercare Learning Center #1039. LPA's met with Assistant Director, Toria Chatman and explained the purpose of today's inspection. Director Selene Acosta was not present during today's inspection. During today's inspection, there were 54 preschool children in care with 9 staff in 5 classrooms. Asst Director stated there are 62 preschool children enrolled. All staff caring and supervision children have Criminal Record Clearance. LPA's are following up on 2 Type A citations for personal rights and lack of supervision violations that the facility was cited for on 06/13/2025. Asst Directror submitted the plan of correction on 06/16/2025 via email. During today's inspection, LPAs reviewed 6 children's file to verify facility has provided parents the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224) form to sign. LPA's observed the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report in the children's file. LPAs also reminded facility to provide a copy of the licensing report dated 06/13/2025 that documents 2 Type A citation(s) to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of cited report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. LPA will provide Asst Director clearance letter for both Type A citations today, 06/20/2025. During today's inspection, there were no violations observed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Assistant Director, Toria Chatman. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
