What the inspector wrote

On 2/19/2026 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Mone Flores and Kareeca "Reeca" Sykes met with licensee, Zuhal Amanyar, for an unannounced Case Management Inspection. LPAs arrived for an Initial Complaint Investigation and toured the facility. LPAs observed ten (10) children present with the licensee and one adult assistant in the on limit day care room, located to down the hall to the right of the stairs. LPAs observed two infant children sleeping in two separate cribs with blankets covering them. Licensee stated she was unaware of the safe sleep requirements for infants in care. LPAs informed the licensee of the safe sleep requirements and advised the licensee to check Title 22 regulations to ensure compliance. LPAs reminded licensee it is her responsibility to remain in compliance and be aware of all Title 22 regulations, including any changes made to the regulations. A Technical Violation was assessed (see LIC 9102). A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted and report reviewed with the licensee, Zuhal Amanyar.
