What the inspector wrote

On 08/15/2024 at 3:40 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Christina Watts and Kareeca Sykes conducted an unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Crystal Gatti family child care home. LPA met with licensee, Crystal and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During today's inspection, there was 8 children in care (6 school age children and 2 preschool children.) Licensee stated she has 8 children enrolled. Also present during today's inspection were licensee 2 school age children.The finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. Complainant alleges that Day-care child sustained unexplained injuries while in care. During the course of the investigation completed a physical plant inspection, reviewed facility records and conducted interviews. LPA could not determine at this time if C1 bruises happened in care. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with Crystal Gatti. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
