What the inspector wrote

On 05/02/2025 at 11:30 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Manel Estoesta conducted a complaint investigation. LPA met with the Licensee Karim Ramzanali and explained the nature of the visit. Present on this facility were 10 Staff and 56 preschool children. The facility operates from Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. Reporting Party (RP) alleged that above allegation. During the investigation, LPA conducted a physical plant inspection and conducted interviews, record reviews and observation. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted with the Licensee Karim Ramzanali.

    101170(e)(2) Criminal Record Clearance that all individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility to request a transfer of a criminal record clearance as specified in Section 101170(f)……….. This requirement is not met as evidenced by, based on the LPA's record review at 11:55 am, LPA confirmed that S1 was not associated to the Facility’s Guardian Roster. Karim stated that he will associate S1 using Guardian Portal. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety or personal rights to children in care.
