What the inspector wrote

Per California Code of Regulations Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 3, the following deficiency is being cited (see LIC 9099-D) . An exit interview was conducted with Ms. Cruz De Segovia. A copy of this report and Appeal Rights were provided and discussed with Ms. Cruz De Segovia. Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 days.

    Personal Rights; (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on the interview with the licensee and as confirmed by law enforcement reports, there was a verbal and physical altercation in the home during daycare hours, when children were in care. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children.
