Inspector’s narrative
What the inspector wrote
On November 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jacqueline Macias conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and met with Licensee, Maria Aguilera de Moraga. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the Licensee. Licensee was provided a Entrance Checklist upon entry. There were two (2) daycare children present in the facility during this inspection. Days and Hours of operation are: Monday \342\200\223 Friday 7:00am- 09:00pm.
Licensee and LPA conducted a tour inside and out of the facility during this inspection. This facility is a two story, three (3) bedroom, 2 \302\275 bathroom house. The following areas used for child care are: living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom #1 and backyard. Off limits areas are all of upstairs which include bedrooms #1-3 and remaining two (2) bathrooms. They are made inaccessible through the use of child safety gates, locks and doorknob covers.
The fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector met requirements. Hazardous items were made inaccessible to children during the inspection. The licensee has toys, play equipment and materials available. The upstairs is not used and is gated off at the bottom of the stairway and the Licensee understands the gate must be in place when children under five years are present during day care hours. The home has a fenced backyard available for outdoor activities at time of inspection. Licensee states she provides continuous supervision of children during outside activities at all times.
LPA observed that the backyard is enclosed with wood fencing and has a in-ground swimming pool that is enclosed by wood fencing a partial wrought iron fence that isolates the swimming pool from access to the family child care home.

LPAs observed one entrance gate leading from the backyard to the pool that is 60 inches tall, enclosed
partially with wrought iron fencing, swings away from the pool is self-closing with a self-latching, key lockable device. The fence does not obscure the pool from view.
LPA observed one pool alarm that is operational, a life ring and rescue pole with a body hook that meet pool
safety requirements. LPA reviewed daily safety inspection log and it is being maintained. LPA and Licensee
discussed the requirements in maintaining a daily safety log inspection. LPA reviewed PIN 25-01-CCP with
Licensee and a copy.
Licensee stated there are no weapons in the home
.
