On 09/10/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tyra Chavies, conducted an unannounced\302\240 Annual/ Required visit at WorldTots LA Preschool Center. LPA met with, Director, Pamela Dale and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Per license, this facility has a toddler component. LPA Chavies confirmed the phone number is: (310) 732-7697. There were 4 toddlers and 10 children in care being supervised by 3 staff members. LPA toured the toddler, Preschool and Pre-k classrooms. Preschool and Pre-k do share a classroom. The classes are separated by a divider in the middle of the room. All facility floors, bathrooms, cots and classrooms meet Title 22 Health and Safety regulations. LPA observed cots for sleeping, age appropriate toys and books in primary care area. LPA did advised director that carpet/rug must be in good repair at all times. Director advised LPA that blankets are washed by the facility and/ or by parent every Friday and parents must bing item back by Monday, if parents do not bring item then facility does have extra blankets. LPA toured outdoor activity space. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition. Areas around climbing equipment have cushioning material to absorb falls. LPA did advised the director that the material to absorb falls must be in good condition at all times. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors/ smoke alarms. The facility does have one or more fire extinguishers which has an inspection date of on August 2025 on the premises . Director advised LPA that parents can bring their own meals, but the facility does provided Breakfast, Lunch and pm snacks.\302\240 There is currently Incidental Medical Services (IMS) are been given at this time and written plan was reviewed.\302\240 There are no bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. Director was reminded that only children who are eating may be in highchairs and that car seats are utilized only for transportation. Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. For child care center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1- CCP). LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP on January 6,2025. POSTING REQUIREMENTS: License and other relevant notices are visible for public view and correctly posted on the wall (Facility Sketch, PUB 394, LIC 9148, LIC 610A). Fire and disaster drills are being conducted as scheduled every month. CHILDREN'S RECORDS: LPA Chavies reviewed 6 children's files. All files currently have all required Forms (LIC 700, 701, 995E, 627 and immunization records.) LPA Chavies did advised director to review files and make sure each child is up to date on immunization. STAFF'S RECORDS: LPA Chavies reviewed 1 staff file. Staff file is up to date. Director was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. Commencing September 1 st , 2016, prohibits a person from being employed or volunteering at a childcare facility or family day care if he or she has not been immunized against influenza, pertussis and measles. Law enacted by SB 277, beginning January 1 st , 2016, personal beliefs exemptions will no longer be an option for the vaccines that are currently required for entry into childcare or school in California. Personal beliefs exemptions already on file will remain valid until the child reaches the next immunization checkpoint. A licensee may file an appeal, in writing 15 business days from the date of receiving the penalty assessment. During the exit interview, director, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders working in the facility. When regulations are approved/changed/updated, providers will be notified through Provider Information Notice (PIN). Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, there are no deficiencies being cited. An exit interview was conducted with Director, Pamela Dale. A copy of this report was read and given to Director as well as LIC 9213 (Notice of Site Visit form.) LIC 9213 is required to be posted for 30 days.
