What Happened
The earlier case management visit found unresolved director coverage problems, inaccessible postings, and several facility hazards. Inspectors noted clogged toilets, cluttered walkways to the playground, expired food, and an uncleared adult who entered the preschool area to clean animal cages.
Observations
- No director was available for all required hours, and classroom teachers were being used as substitute directors.
- Required parent postings and the license were not displayed where parents could easily see them.
- The children's restroom toilets were clogged and not working.
- The playground walkway had stacked items, boxes, pavers, and other debris that children could access.
- Expired mayonnaise and sour cream, plus unlabeled shredded chicken, were found in the refrigerator.
- An adult entered the school-age classroom to clean hamster cages without being accompanied, cleared, or associated to the facility.
